Aye. Think the 1874 pic has some justification for the events in 1874. The old lead image, though, was a photograph of a drawing - or at minimum, a photo so extremely retouched by Victorians to be indistinguishable from one^[1] - which is surely the worst possibility Adam Cuerden ^(talk)_{Has about 8.8% of all FPs.} 18:08, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

^ That's apparently a thing. Something about reproducing photos of photos of photos and adding details back in. More common with daguerrotypes, where there isn't an easy way to reproduce them.
