May 24[edit]

Is ref number one - regarding the correct format for publisher - correct on the above page. It does not look correct to me . Thanks Srbernadette (talk) 00:13, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As 'cite web' has been used I have changed the publisher parameter to 'website' and inserted 'http://scotland.forestry.gov.uk/' therein. Eagleash (talk) 00:23, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ref number 30 is all wrong. Please fix. I did my best. Sorry 00:27, 24 May 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Srbernadette (talkcontribs)

Used accepted values for accessdate. I also added publication date. -- The Voidwalker Discuss 00:34, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

refs numbers 14 and also 19 were created incorrectly some time ago. please fix thanks Srbernadette (talk) 01:55, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please check my most recent edit - hard to do thanks Srbernadette (talk) 05:21, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ref 14 seems good (it is not a common method of sourcing but seems OK). Ref 19 is a quote from a book. It would need access to the source material to improve the ref. Eagleash (talk) 05:50, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please check that ref number 5 is as detailed as it should be thanks Srbernadette (talk) 03:23, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information box[edit]

How can you add to a company page the information box usually on the top right highlighting all the main facts of the company ?

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Guillaumelange (talkcontribs) 03:03, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, you can use Template:Infobox company. Copy and paste the template to the very top of the article, but after any maintenance templates etc., and complete as many fields as possible. Or you can find an article about a similar company and copy the infobox from the 'mark-up' and then amend/delete the information as necessary. Ther are some strange <ref> signs preceding the refs. Numbered 24 - 30. I think this is a mistake. Please fix. Thanks so much 2001:8003:4CB1:3C00:FC76:9B1D:3AFA:1872 (talk) 09:48, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Seek help on Image replacement[edit]

hello, I am myself an autoconfirmed user but i am facing a problem. On the wikipedia page of video game "clash of clans" there is a picture that shows one player attacking another player. However this image is outdated and is very old, the layout has changed a lot since the time that picture has been taken. I would be very happy if that picture is replaced with a new and currrent versions image. I will provide you the image. I dont know how to replace an image. if someoene can pls tell me how to replace an image i would be very grateful.

Thanks and regards, user:VarunFEB2003 — Preceding unsigned comment added by VarunFEB2003 (talkcontribs) 11:14, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, VarunFEB2003. I have unlinked the section title, since it doesn't point to a Wikipedia article. However, it would be helpful if you link to the article you are referring to thus: [[Clash of Clans]] displays as Clash of Clans. Also, please sign any posts on talk and discussion pages like this one by adding four tildes ~~~~
Normally, I would advise you to upload the new picture to Wikimedia Commons, using the Upload wizard. But this is a special case: the existing picture, File:Clash of Clans gameplay.jpg is a copyright image that is being used here under the non free content criteria. If you look at the file (the link just before this), you will see that the original uploader, Bertaut, made sure that its use met all the criteria, and gave the justification when they uploaded it. Because your picture is going to be a replacement, I suggest you look at the criteria and make sure you understand them and are following them (especially the low resolution one), and then use the "Upload a new version of this file" button on the File page. You shouldn't need to do anything to the article itself (though of course you might want to update the caption of the image). --ColinFine (talk) 12:50, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Action figure and toy merger[edit]

I think a toy and action figure are very similar. Should this be merged into one page. Eurocus47 (talk) 16:20, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The place to discuss that would be on the relevant talk pages. —  crh 23  (Talk) 16:27, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
