Fabio (Seba) Sebastianelli page[edit]

Hi, My name is Fabio Sebastianelli, I have created an article specifically about about the Guy Ritchie's Snatch soundtrack, which I wrote the Title track of the film "Diamond" and also another track for the film "Are you there" The name of my band at that time was KLINT. I have noticed in a wikipedia article/page that says the SEBA wrote this song but the link goes to someone call Sebastian Ahrenberg, which is drum and bass musician but he was never involved about this song "Diamond" which I wrote and released on 2001 on Universal records which license the song from my record company at that time "tritone records". I am not sure verify that with an online source but I wanted to create this article so there are not mistakes about who wrote this song.

Hey @Fabioseba: welcome, if you want something changed on Wikipedia, you will need to provide reliable sources - you can visit the reference desk if you want help finding some. I cannot view the wikipedia page that i created in google[edit]

Hi i created a wikipedia of my figure ice skater daughter Ayasofya Vittoria S Aguirre https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Ayasofya_Vittoria_Aguirre, but it cant find the link when i searched it in google? Further, you have a close connection with the subject and should read and follow the guidleins at WP:COI. I have moved the page to Draft:Ayasofya Vittoria Aguirre where yu can continue to develop it. When you are ready, place {{subst:submit}} at the top of the article to submit it for review. Also refer to Wikipedia:Changing username. At present, you are using a name that impersonates other person; namely Ayasofya. Therefore, you are contravening our policy of using a misleading user name. You need to edit under your own account and not use your daughters name for this. So, please change your user name before doing any further editing. It a good idea to do it now, rather than suffer the problems that will arise when it comes up for review. If you visit Template:Support and Template:Oppose, you'll see that we did have them, but they were deleted at TFD repeatedly, and improperly recreated repeatedly, and that ultimately both titles were prevented from future creation. Nyttend (talk) 10:44, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There's a user script which means you can see those little symbols by "keep" or "delete" comments here, you only need to add importScript( 'User:Ais523/votesymbols.js' ); // Backlink: [[User:Ais523/votesymbols.js]] to your common.js page - I think (I don't remember exactly how I added it to mine). Incorrect links in a page - security concern (attempt to hijack links?)[edit]

The page for Mount Whitney [1] has all links pointing to a YouTube video, and it does not seem to be a way to edit the content to fix it, but rather the link seems to have been added elsewhere to an image... This is what I see in View Source (seems an image overlay on top of the page - from one of the references): [details removed, see below]

A template was vandalised. It has been corrected, but it will take a while for the software to rebuild all the affected pages. I have purged the Mount Whitney article so this one should be OK. -- John of Reading (talk) 13:17, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Marshall Bouldin[edit]

Redirect / Disambiguation[edit]

Rephrasing unanswered question - what to do about these two articles: This novel The Summer King (which notability has been called into question) is inclusive to the title "The Summer King"; however, this opera: The Summer King shares the same name. Question: should I create a disambiguation page just for these two articles? or select one of the more notable, and redirect the other? (and of course ... in my ignorance: how to do that exactly. Yes. I did know this as much. I was hoping that, since the novel was already questioned as "non-notable" - and the opera was gaining more recognition with another national production launching in 2018 - that the redirect could be to the opera; and the "hatnote" could direct to the novel. In my experience, citation overkill is occasionally necessary when an editor, for unknown reasons, consistently refuses to accept new content or interpretations of concepts sourced from highly reliable academic references and repeatedly deletes content that does not fit with his or her worldview. In such cases, a long list of references in support of a simple definition or an interpretation of a concept is the simplest and quickest way to get over an obstinate hurdle and move on with developing an article. I would be the first to admit that citation overkill is poor form - but such is the editing culture at Wikipedia that edits are rejected on the most spurious grounds (usually along the lines of "I don't like it" or "Some content just doesn't belong here") - and unless you are prepared to spend half your life seeking third opinions - you have to develop strategies for dealing with editors who are highly resistant to change of any sort.
