Creat page[edit]

Hi, I'm a singer. I have many songs and clips. I want to make a page. I need your help.

My name is Alan jamal — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alanjamal415 (talkcontribs) 16:06, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and we want an article about every notable subject, by our definition of notability: see WP:NMUSIC. If you meet our notability requirements, then please come back here for more help. If you do not, then please do not waste any time (yours or ours) on this, as we will simply delete your work. -Arch dude (talk) 16:31, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Alanjamal415: A cursory Google search for "Alan Jamal" does not show any sources that would demonstrate notability under any of the criteria in WP:NMUSIC. Please read those criteria: you are more motivated to do this than any of the unpaid volunteers here. If you can demonstrate that you meet any of these criteria, come back here. -Arch dude (talk) 18:00, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Synonym Stance[edit]

Hi. Recently I've been editing the article ephemerality. Nominally, you may not know that word or the descriptor, ephemeral, however with synonyms such as transient, fleeting and momentary, you probably do. Ephemeral is ostensibly the preferred term by academics and the such however would it be appropriate to still cite material described as any of the above synonyms and relate(/literary change wording to) (the) ephemeral. Or do those synonyms imply a different stance which the article should reflect? DMT Biscuit (talk) 19:53, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's not clear to me that ephemerality is actually about a topic. It reminds me of schooldays, when I'd be asked to write an essay on <whatever>, and just write a few paragraphs each with that word in them. But I'm a scientist. I can manage "about a topic", while "reflecting a stance" is lost on me. Maproom (talk) 20:23, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Purely for interest (not taking a stance regarding any of the above), Ephemera is a thing. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 90.209.235.54 (talk) 23:21, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ephemera may be "a" thing (although it's plural) but ephemerality is a concept, not a tangible thing. Does WP have notability criteria for concepts, other than WP:NBASIC? 73.127.147.187 (talk) 07:23, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I see that "impermanence" has an article as a doctrine of Buddhism. That's close, but maybe not exactly the same as writing about a concept. 73.127.147.187 (talk) 07:27, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
