Join the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden and Smithsonian Libraries as we host our first ever Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon in honor of Women's History Month . Help us improve representation of female and female-identifying performance and new media artists on Wikipedia. Anyone and everyone interested in learning how to edit Wikipedia, regardless of experience, gender, or background, is welcome to attend. Please bring a laptop and charging cord.
Hosted at the Hirshhorn's ARTLAB+ , and organized by the Hirshhorn and Smithsonian Libraries. This event is part of the Art+Feminism DC2020 campaign among DC-area arts & culture institutions to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution, guaranteeing and protecting women's constitutional right to vote. These events are presented with support from Wikimedia DC .
February 29, 2020 at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden's ARTLAB+ 10 AM – 4 PM EDT NOTE: ARTLAB+ is located in the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden at Jefferson Drive, SW and 7th St, SW . The doors are under the stairs bordering Jefferson Drive, SW. The Hirshhorn's Dolcezza Cafe, located in the lobby of the museum, opens at 10 am.
