- What: First meetup for 2020, and slightly late celebration of Wikipedia Day. Just a social meetup with food, coffee, and chatting (no problem if you can't make this one; the next meetup will be early February)

The nature of such meetups in usually social and exchanging gossip and chatter about almost everything, and weekend meetups have been in the main task free, but at the same time do produce interesting results worth noting:
- New articles in January 2020 have been the largest number in a month since the origin of the notice on the WA noticeboard
- Regions of Western Australia projects have been expanded to include all regions:
Among the various discussions was the proposal to drop the usage of apologies to not attending in future meeting pages, and the general consensus was to change the heading to not attending.
Thanks to those who attended, that has resulted in perhaps the most edits resulting from a meeting in a very long time!
