September 8[edit]

Chad Kroeger Nickelback[edit]

I was on your site on 9-5-07 under the above heading where I read a section called Diagnosis stating that Chad had been diagnosed HIV positive and had announced it on their website 9-2-07. Since, then, I have found no mention of it on your site and definitely not on theirs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gigicin (talkcontribs) 00:44, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The information you're referring to was removed yesterday. It was added by an anonymous user, and was probably just vandalism, since, as you pointed out, it has no source supporting it. --CrazyLegsKC 02:07, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Virginia Tech benefit[edit]

On September 6, Virginia Tech held a rock concert, and called it "A Concert for Virginia Tech". The purpose was to help give the university a boost going forward in the wake of the Virginia Tech massacre. Is somebody going to write about the concert? Please let me know what's going on. Thank you.72.229.130.76 01:12, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are pretty keen for this to get written, huh? We already have mention of it here. Why don't you be bold and write about it in more yourself? However, remember to find reliable sources and indicate why it is considered a notable event. If you can't do that then it probably does not meet our standards for an article, though it could be mentioned somewhere in our numerous articles related to the massacre. Hey! The reason it's a notable event is because of it's a way of helping the Blacksburg community, with a few big name music artists. Plus, several tee shirt sales, with a few ticket sales, paid for staging the concert.72.229.130.76 03:02, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
