A film title please?[edit]

I recall (faintly) a western movie. It starred Clint Walker I believe. He was the caretaker of an old mine and his job was mainly to stop people coming and stealing from it. Then his (believed to be) daughter turns up and eventually seduces him. The films ends up with him in court accused of incest but the girl/woman is proved not to be his daughter.

Can anyone recall this film and its title please?

It sounds like you are referring to Butterfly (1982 film), which starred Stacy Keach, not Clint Walker. -- kainaw 19:16, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Kainaw - I checked your link and it certainly sounds like the same one. I appreciate the help. Gurumaister (talk) 19:20, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, were we wrong last time around? ---Sluzzelin talk 19:23, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Clearly, Gurumaister plans to ask this question on the 29th of every month from now on. Deor (talk) 20:51, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am anxious to see what happens in Feb. Googlemeister (talk) 21:14, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Errrr . . . I am puzzled - your comment sounds like I have asked this question before but I honestly don'tr recall doing so. If I have can someone tell me when. If I have then I apologise, I would not knowing waste your time  :) Gurumaister (talk) 15:13, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, I often can't remember what I said yesterday, let alone what others said. Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Archives/Entertainment/2010_June_29#Film_title_Needed is the link to your question in June. ---Sluzzelin talk 15:15, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh gosh!! You are right. I am so sorry. I am well known for being absent minded but I am not normally that bad  :) Gurumaister (talk) 15:23, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A sitcom title please?[edit]

The above question led me to think that Pia Zadora starred in a short-lived sitcom about a boy who sees an adult woman, but he is the only one who sees her because she is apparently a ghost. It isn't in Zadora's filmography, so I assume she wasn't the star. Does anyone recognize this sitcom and know the title? -- kainaw 19:39, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

imdb has no entry for her on any tv series. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 22:58, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps you're misremembering the character played by Ann Jillian in Jennifer Slept Here as having been played by Zadora. Deor (talk) 23:42, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I believe that is it. -- kainaw 03:13, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You confused Ann with Pia? Yikes! Methinks you are way overdue for a visit to your optometrist. :) ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 04:20, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
