What is the name of the music playing in the background in this video between 0:10 and 0:37?[edit]

Hanson and Carlson and Boz Scaggs[edit]

Hi Guys,

Please can you publish some info on the link between Hanson and Carlson and Boz Scaggs. Hanson and Carlson were active musicians in Stockholm in the 60's and later, even jamming with Jimi Hendrix who recorded one of their songs. Boz Scaggs was also there in 1967 and also jammed with them. He left in May 67 to return to the U.S. and form the Steve Miller band. I know this because I met all of them briefly in the recording studio the night before Boz left for home.

I am not a musician and they wouldn't remember me at all. I was just a young English guy passing through, but I loved the music of both sets of musicians. What I would like to know is: Did they actually record together and if so, was this ever released ? Also did H & C have any influece musically on Boz Scaggs either with Steve Miller or as a solo performer ?

Maybe the Boz Scaggs article will help. We don't have an article on Hanson and Carlson, but Bo Hansson would appear to the be the Hansson part of the similarly named Hansson and Karlsson duo (for which we don't have an article either). Maybe you'll have better luck with the Swedish articles: sv:Hansson & Karlsson, sv:Bo Hansson (musiker) and sv:Janne "Loffe" Carlsson. Astronaut (talk) 15:15, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
