Which other one did Brittany date ?[edit]

About a year ago I was looking at the IMDB article on Jonathan Brandis. It states that his prom date was Brittany Murphy. Now somewhere else I found that either Brittany or Jonathan had dated another actor who has since died also - whether it was Brittany and Brad Renfro or Heath Ledger, or Corey Haim, I cannot now remember. Or whether it was someone like Ashton Kutcher who is still very much alive, who may be the one who went on to date another actress who has since died. No, because this was before he died - and in fact I only found out he died minutes before I asked this question, and it was quite a shock. I knew Brittany was married at the time, but also knew with all due respect he was not as well known ( by the way I loved her performance in Clueless, but did not realise it was her until later - that is the one who played the character I loved in Clueless was later the same girl in 8 mile ). I had decided last night to look it all up again, then seeing here article here and at IMDB, I wondered, so how is her widowed husband doing now ? I looked up his article to see that sad picture of him, taken last March, 3 months after Brittany's death, only to find he was not doing so well now himself. It strikes me that her death may well have led to his - in the very same house at that. ( Like the plot for some kind of terrible horror film about a killer residence ). So no. I am sure it was someone else who was certainly dead by the time I had first looked this up, and likely it could have been Heath Ledger, but again as I also said it could be that Ashton Kutcher who dated Brittany Murphy may also have gone out with another girl who has since died at a relatively young age. Identifying another tune...[edit]

Sorry for asking again there's another theme I like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxEeqEPhUMI. Yea I'm a 21 year old guy but don't say I'm gay please my 4 year old sis was watching this and the theme really had my heart jumping. At 0:58 it says "includes themes by Felix Mendelssohn". Is this theme by Mendelssohn? If so which of his piece is it? Also does anyone know any music forums with lots of experts where I can ask future questions like this? Thanks. According to our article, Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses won an award for its music, so you can feel good about liking it :) Nobody cares about your age, gender, or sexual orientation here ;) However, everything I see concentrates on the end music, not the opening credits. Here are some details of the Mendelssohn works used in the movie, the intro sounds like it is generic intro music to me but perhaps it is an adaption of a Mendelssohn theme too. meltBanana 14:52, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It may have taken me three days but I've finally identified the main theme, i.e. the tune played by the flute from 0.36 to 0.55 and by the whole orchestra from 1.14 to the end. It's an anonymous spagnoletta, a Renaissance Italian dance, first published in Michael Praetorius' Terpsichore (1612) and much later arranged by Respighi in his Ancient Airs and Dances, but I doubt if Mendelssohn ever used it – he would have considered it pre-music. Lucas was known for making inside-joke references. One of the more obvious is his attempt to put something labeled THX-1138, or something similar, somewhere in almost every movie.
