Half-remembered comic book[edit]

I'm trying to find out the name of a comic book and/or graphic novel I vaguely remember reading years ago. All I really remember about it was that it was that the main character was a green, bald, vaguely humanoid creature with thick glasses who lived underground, and it was a comedic work. The art style was kind of reminiscent of R. Crumb, but I don't think it actually was Crumb. I don't know when it was released, but it was the mid-1990s when I saw it. Sorry I can't give you more information. 68.222.102.228 (talk) 02:43, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that looks like it's probably the one. I must have been wrong about the glasses. Thanks! 68.222.102.228 (talk) 17:57, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Its a long time since I read it , and I don't have a copy to hand, but I seem to recall that he did wear goggles when visiting the world of the "drycleaners" (us) in order to keep his eyes moist. 87.81.230.195 (talk) 15:41, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Brandon de Wilde movie name and female lead name[edit]

Brandon de Wilde played a slow younger brother who drowned in a film about a woman who was controlling and lethal. What was the name of the film and the lead actress? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lauralong10 (talkcontribs) 04:11, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why not take a look at the filmography of Brandon de Wilde and see if anything jogs your memory. Astronaut (talk) 15:02, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New Movie Who's There?[edit]

Hi. I was wondering how to post an article about an independent film I found. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1814946/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paul Wargner (talkcontribs) 14:31, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not every new movie is notable. See the guideline page: Wikipedia:Notability (films). If you are sure you can demonstrate notability by providing reliable sources, why not create a draft of the article in a subpage of your user page, perhaps at User:Paul Wargner/Who's There? (film). Once you are confident it is ready, you can invite more seasoned editors to comment on it (there is a place to do that, but I can't remember where). Looking for a 90s PC Game[edit]

okay, I'm looking for this 90s PC/mac game,, It didn't had special missions and it was in 2D i think , You saw stuff from above kinda, The logo of the game had Swords in it.. And in the game you had a map all covered with tiles , and you could place some logos/icons/things in each tile if you wanted, like: "City"(had two big buildings and a road), "Forest"(forest had a forest in it) "Farm"(a building and trees) and more stuff. This wasn't excactly a war game tho, and it was NOT Command and conquer.

It was not Civilization btw!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.220.34.89 (talk) 22:11, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Real-time or turn-based? Let's try The Settlers series. 213.122.68.238 (talk) 01:10, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's not turn based, It atleast had single-player and it was pretty open, you could just place these "city" and "forest" stuff on the tiles you wanted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.220.34.89 (talk) 18:22, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Populous maybe? Or something similar? 142.179.81.220 (talk) 05:04, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks but no, Much much older. It was from above and you placed "City" "Forest" on these tiles where you wanted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.220.34.89 (talk) 07:20, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Populous was released in 1989, yet you claim your game was released in the 90s. Which is it? (You don't need to repeat that you place City and Forest on tiles every time you respond.) 90.193.232.5 (talk) 07:37, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

HEY are you braindead, I SAID It's NOT this damn Popeulous it doesnt even have SWORDS in the logo, Learn to read. Also it's NOT from 1989... It's much younger then that, it was maybe from 1993 - 1998 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.220.34.89 (talk) 14:04, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, chill out, man. No need to be rude. Above, you said it was "much much older" than Populous, now it's "much younger". If you give out confusing messages, it's not our fault if we get confused. -- Jack of Oz [your turn] 18:29, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I believe what you are looking for is Dominus. There are tiles with Woods and tiles with little houses. There is a sword in the logo and it was released in 1994.
If that's not it you're going to have to be more detailed. (And more polite.) APL (talk) 20:42, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's similar but its not it, it was released in 1992 - 1997 or something but it was A LITTLE bit more modern inside, like there were not tiny houses it was Two tall apertment buildings in 1 tile named "city" (and a road) and a similar (to the Dominus house) looking house called "Farm". and there were not these persons in it, you could just place them on the open map. You didn't play a character or a have some kind of a class. 85.220.34.89 (talk) 23:17, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

wow, cmon, no-one who knows WHAT THE FUCK IT IS??!?!#!?!?!?!!! 85.220.32.26 (talk) 10:49, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
