Weird thing[edit]
Lol this probably sounds stupid... I've realized a strange inconsistency with female celebrity looks. I mean many female celebs looks so good in movies but not so in real life, e.g. in this movie youtu.be/pfDClSZP12E?t=1h3m31s I was like OMFGGGGG SHES SOOOOOO HAWTTTTTT (she was hot through the whole movie but that scene and a one shortly after at 1:05:00 was unbelievable), but when I checked her (catherine bell) on imdb she looked very average, even unattractive in some photos. I noticed this happens a lot with female movie stars, huge discrepancy in beauty between different photos/scenes, yet most male movie stars always look good to me (e.g. Russell Crowe). The hottest women I've seen are in real life, or just aren't celebs/movie stars. I just don't get it, why??? Btw I'm a guy, not gay. Money is tight (talk) 08:32, 12 July 2014 (UTC)

- I'm not sure what question we're supposed to be answering. Are you wondering why we've gotten used to seeing women with some idealized look of beauty while they don't look that way in their daily lives? A while back the Huffington Post published an article, well more of a gallery really, of porn stars with and without their stage makeup. They later posted a second gallery. - The movie is Bruce Almighty, she's Susan Ortega in the movie (real name catherine bell). I've seen quite a few women without any makeup who are absolutely drop dead stunning. In fact I've seen lots of them in real life who are more attractive than movie stars in real life. None of the ones in your link is attractive to me. - We're used to seeing women "dolled up" and men not so much. A year or two ago the women of The Talk did a show where they went without makeup. The difference was eye-opening.
