No need for this, can use Template:Infobox television episode instead. WOSlinker (talk) 11:52, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Delete; deleted as G7 by RHaworth (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) AnomieBOT 12:07, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I created the template back in June 2015, based on the template from the Minecraft Wiki. Thinking back, I believe that the template does not really serve any purpose, as it's main use (quickly signing unsigned comments immediately after they are added) can just as easily be done by SineBot. In its current state it doesn't even work with IP addresses (linking to the user page instead of contributions), since unlike the Minecraft Wiki's unsigned template, Wikipedia's does not use Lua and does not have auto IP address checking.

I don't believe that the template has been used very often, though I may be wrong (since it is substituted there isn't really a way to check). -Sonicwave (talk|c) 05:29, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was replace transclusions with {{DDB}} where possible and deleteAlakzi (talk) 08:00, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rarely used template with errors. End of September 2015 de:BAM-Portal will be shut down. It will be integrated into the de:Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek (DDB).[1] This is a good time to delete this template and make a new start with {{DDB}} (de:Vorlage:DDB).

SPK digital (the link added on 20 July 2015‎) is only one of many German library catalogs. Examples:

  • Keep until the outcome of the de:BAM-Portal and de:Vorlage:Spk-digital is known. It's all still under discussion. If they replace their template, we should create the English equivalent, otherwise links ported from German Wikipedia will fail. As a general observation, templates with errors should be fixed not deleted. And nor should we delete examples of a template's usage immediately before or during discussion and then call it "rarely used." --Bermicourt (talk) 16:46, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • On 6 August 2015 I've deleted the link to Schloss+Rheinsberg because publications like Visuelle Poesie or Opern des 21. Jahrhunderts do not fit to Schloss Rheinsberg. I wouldn't use the link with or without a template. de:Vorlage:BAM will be deleted at German Wikipedia, since de:BAM-Portal will be shut down. (Of cause the article will be kept.) de:Vorlage:BAM-Ort has been deleted already. de:Vorlage:Spk-digital (discussed for deletion) is a new template, linking to the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation. @Bermicourt: If you care for links ported from German Wikipedia, then why not create {{DDB}}, a template that is used by 4461 articles? --Kolja21 (talk) 21:57, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: Replacement template appears not to have been created yet?

  • The replacement template {{DDB}} has been created today. @Frietjes: Thanks for your work! --Kolja21 (talk) 15:15, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
