Contribute ideas to global university program expansion[edit]

The Public Policy Initiative's successes have raised the profile of Wikipedia's use in higher education -- and now we're looking to expand the program worldwide to other disciplines in other countries and in other languages. Wikimedia Foundation team members have been collaborating on a white paper for expanding the global university program, and you're encouraged to contribute your ideas! Wikipedia in higher ed featured on Blog Talk Radio[edit]

Public Policy Initiative Communications Associate LiAnna Davis and Wikipedia editor Ryan Dellolio were guests on the Association for Social Media and Higher Education's Blog Talk Radio series on Monday, March 28. LiAnna and Ryan discussed the Public Policy Initiative, explored whether universities should edit their own Wikipedia pages, and answered questions from live chatters. Next version of Article Feedback Tool launches[edit]

The Article Feedback Tool's new look.

The Article Feedback Tool, a reader rating system for Wikipedia that's being piloted on Public Policy Initiative articles, is now appearing on students' articles in a new format. The new version of the tool has a different look, has clarified the categories, and includes a check box that users can self-select whether they are highly knowledgeable about the topic. Learn more about the results from the first round and what the tool's researchers are interested in with regard to the second version.

Check out the Leaderboard, now updated for the spring term. Included on the Leaderboard rankings are all classes in which students have signed up with their usernames, thereby giving us the ability to track the class's progress.
