TFA blurb review[edit]

The 2020 Masters was a professional non-ranking snooker tournament held between 12 and 19 January 2020 at the Alexandra Palace in London, England. It was the 46th staging of the Masters tournament, which was first held in 1975. As the second of three Triple Crown events in the 2019–20 season, it followed the 2019 UK Championship and preceded the 2020 World Snooker Championship. The event invites the top 16 players from the snooker world rankings in a single-elimination tournament. Organised by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, it was broadcast by the BBC and Eurosport in Europe. The defending champion was Judd Trump, who had defeated Ronnie O'Sullivan 10–4 in the final of the previous year's event. Trump lost to Shaun Murphy 3–6 in the first round. In the final Stuart Bingham defeated Ali Carter 10–8 to claim his first Masters title. He became the oldest Masters champion at the age of 43 years and 243 days, beating the previous record set by Ray Reardon in 1976. (Full article...)

Just a suggested blurb ... thoughts and edits are welcome. Pinging Lee Vilenski. - Dank (push to talk) 20:26, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ya, seems cool to me. Just a quick question Dank, any ideas why we use WP:BOLDAVOID on the mainpage (as in linking bolded text)? Do you know if this has been brought up before? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 20:28, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know. It's a Main Page thing, not a TFA thing. - Dank (push to talk) 20:35, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
