Louis Leblanc (born January 26, 1991) is a former professional ice hockey centre from Canada. He played minor hockey in the Montreal region before playing the 2008–09 season with the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League and becoming Rookie of the Year. He spent one season with the Harvard Crimson, being named Ivy League rookie of the year, and in 2010 signed a contract with the Montreal Canadiens. In the 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, he helped Canada win a silver medal. Leblanc spent three seasons with the Canadiens, mainly playing for their American Hockey League affiliate, before being traded in 2014 to the Anaheim Ducks and playing for their affiliate in the same league. In 2015 he moved to Europe and played seven games for HC Slovan Bratislava of the Kontinental Hockey League before being released. After appearing in four games for Lausanne HC of the Swiss National League A, he retired from hockey. (Full article...)
