TFA blurb review[edit]

Persona is a role-playing video game franchise developed and primarily published by Atlus. The first entry in the series, Revelations: Persona, was released in 1996 for the PlayStation. Spun off from Atlus' Megami Tensei franchise, the games feature a group of students as the main cast and a silent protagonist. The Personas are mythological or historical beings summoned to fight or perform magic. Since the release of Persona 3 in 2006, the main series has used a social simulation function called Social Links. Character designs are by Kazuma Kaneko and Shigenori Soejima. Revelations: Persona was the first role-playing Megami Tensei game to be released outside of Japan. The series has shipped over 11 million copies worldwide, outselling its parent franchise. There have been numerous adaptations, including anime television series, films, novelizations, mangas, stage plays, radio dramas, and musical concerts. (Full article...)

ProtoDrake, and anyone else interested: thoughts and edits (up to 1025 characters total) are welcome. There's no rush; this hasn't been scheduled at TFA yet. This batch finishes up blurbs for FACs promoted in 2016. - Dank (push to talk) 18:56, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
