Wikipedia Loves Art[edit]

Propose we hold a Wikipedia Loves Art or Wikipedia Takes DC (public art edition) event in the late spring or early summer. It's 100% certain the OpenStreetMap folks would be interested in being involved with this, and DC's GIS unit & OCTO may also be interested in participating in such an event. It may be possible to create a GIS dataset that can be added to the city's data catalog as an "unofficial" dataset and we can maintain it. They don't have the sort of documentation and photos that this WikiProject is gathering, so that's some added value that Wikipedia and this WikiProject can provide. So many cool possibilities. :) --Aude (talk) 21:26, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
