Bulgaria stub
[edit]Please note, the important Bulgarian anarchist movement is not listed here. I'll get around to creating a stub, eventually....210.84.13.233 06:10, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Suggested merge
[edit]So does anyone have any reason why this should or shouldn't be merged with Anarchism by country? I suppose there is no real reason not to. If it is merged, I suggest renaming the article Anarchism by country into List of anarchist movements by region, and making that the main article for this category. Any better ideas? I suppose the only complication might be that there never has been a clear break between one anarchist "movement" and another along regional lines. Sure anarchists love to split their organizations from time to time, and there are plenty of different schools of thought, but none (to my knowledge) has ever declared itself to be different on the basis of region. So would it be more accurate to title the category History of anarchism by region?--Cast 01:43, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- I totally agree with you, Cast. It should be merged/redirected. --Grrrlriot (talk) 20:06, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I'd forgotten about this proposal, but that's because I never really made it. Someone else did and didn't explain why. I pushed the issue by starting up this discussion topic, but frankly I don't really agree with it. Granted, I feel that listing anarchist movements by country is inaccurate, but it is part of a larger series of categories by country. What's important about the category isn't that it necessarily explain the international nature of these movements, but that these articles be easily classified for researchers. I think I'll retract the idea on behalf of whoever it was who originally suggested it. They clearly no longer care, as no one has engaged the issue before this time.--Cast (talk) 06:07, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- Perhaps your right, Cast. I think it would be a good idea for researchers of anarchism by countries. --Grrrlriot (talk) 16:47, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
