Should these be considered[edit]

Should these be considered for listing under resorts?...

Category:Amusement parks & Category:Water parks

I don't think so, no.--Commander Keane 21:14, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Individual resorts[edit]

Should the articles on individual resorts be in this category or should they be moved (if needed) to one of the sub-categories? Jason McHuff 05:38, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Articles should be moved to subcategories from such a general category as this. Wilchett 05:09, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is a resort?[edit]

Right now it appears that anything with rooms, food and amenities is being listed as a resort. I think there needs to be some direction provided before this get more out of hand. Is the Peppermill Hotel Casino really a resort? How about Give Kids The World or Castaway Cay or Little San Salvador Island? I'm not sure what the criteria should be since there are different types of resorts. But having the word resort in the name or web site does not make something a resort. At a minimum it needs to be a self contained attraction with some level of distinguishing service or amenities. Vegaswikian 21:55, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
