Growing up in Dimona, Turgeman was exposed to a rich tapestry of musical influences, combining traditional Moroccan melodies with modern sounds. His musical education began at the Mizmor Music Academy, where he honed his singing and songwriting skills. He later served as a combat soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces Golani Brigade, an experience that enriched his artistic perspective.[2]

Musical career

Akiva Turgeman gained national fame with his hit single, “אל תעזבי ידיים” (Never Let Go), which topped the Israeli music charts in 2018.
