Boston Budo is a Family Karate School in Boston, MA, that has been in operation since 1979.[1] The curriculum encompasses a wide range of concepts from: awareness through movement, relaxation breathing, forms and self defense, to nonviolent conflict resolution and community building.[2] The school focuses on teaching the principles of Uechi Ryu Karate to Bostonians of all ages.[3]

Boston Budo was founded as Sanchin Martial Arts by Sensei Duane Lucia, and since 2010 has been helmed by his son, Sensei Noah Lucia.
