Ghazal Alagh is the co-founder of Honasa Consumer Ltd. with Mamaearth as the first brand. She was also a 'shark' (i.e., a judge/investor) in the business reality TV show Shark Tank India Season 1.
Early Life & Education[edit]
Ghazal was born to a middle-class family in Gurgaon, Haryana. She completed her formal education in Haryana. In 2010, she graduated with a degree in Computer Application from Panjab University. She completed the Summer Intensive Course in Design & Applied Arts & Intensive Course in Figurative Art in Modern Art in 2013 from New York Academy of Art.
Career[edit]
Ghazal started her career with NIIT as a corporate trainer[1]. Her role was to train managers & engineers from various IT companies, such as SQL, J2ME & Oracle.
Inspired by the unavailability of toxin-free baby products in India, Ghazal & her husband, Varun Alagh, founded Mamaearth[2] under the parent organization Honasa Consumer Ltd. on October 31, 2016.
Besides, being an entrepreneur, she is also an artist.

She is married to Varun Alagh, who is also the co-founder at Mamaearth.
