Hatty Nestor is a British writer and academic. Her book Ethical Portraits: In Search of Representational Justice was published by Zero Books in 2021. It explores drawn and painted portraits in the US criminal justice system, analysing representations of Chelsea Manning, facial recognition, courtroom sketches, DNA profiling and mugshots. The foreword was written by Jackie Wang.
