This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of films). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). - Comment: See my notes. This is somewhat close to passing but just isn't there yet. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 17:04, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: A quick note about qualifying for the Oscars: this isn't really a sign of notability or even really something to mention in the article. All qualifying means is that it met the basic requirements to be in the running for the long or short list for the award. Those aren't really signs of notability so to speak so this would be more of a WP:TRIVIAL thing to mention (per Wikipedia's guidelines) and not really something I'd rely on for notability. Now if it got onto the final ballot for the Oscar for short films, that would be enough to establish notability but that's not going to be announced for a while and is kind of a long shot for any given short film (that isn't Pixar created/released, anyway). Establishing notability for short films is incredibly difficult as it has to pass the same notability guidelines used for feature length films, despite getting maybe a tenth of the coverage - if even that. This needs coverage by way of reviews and so on. The NYICFF award isn't enough to give notability on that basis alone. iFilm looks to be discerning but lacks the notability needed for the award to be considered as a notability-granting source/award. The Animation Magazine source is actually a good one and can be used to create a production/development section. However those are the only two sources that are really good and they're not really strong enough to establish notability. What is needed here would be something like a review in a reliable source. Those are pretty difficult to come by for short films, unfortunately. I highly recommend continuing to work on this as this is one of the more promising short films as far as notability goes. I don't think there's quite enough at the moment to really establish notability but there's enough to where if we had a couple more strong sources it would pass. - Comment: I know This short animated film win more awards but these nomination and awards section are unsourced and source are only 4, so, this submission can't be accepted at this time, please add more reliable source who increase and indicates clear notability ;please see WP:NFILM. ~~ αvírαm|(tαlk) 16:11, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
