Returning to his outdoor passions, Crumpton became the primary steward of Spoke Hollow Ranch, a 1,000-acre property in Wimberley, Texas, owned by his wife Jeanie's family since the 1940s. He focused on conservation and stewardship efforts on this land. His attempts at sustainable living led him from gardening to hunting, deepening his connection with nature.

Advocacy and Education[edit]

His experiences in hunting and land stewardship inspired the establishment of Spoke Hollow Outfitters, offering guided outdoor experiences with a focus on education and mentorship in conservation.
