Draft:Memphis Love
Submission declined on 8 January 2024 by BuySomeApples (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Memphis Love is the eighth studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Vanessa Amorosi. It was released through Dave Stewart's Bay Street Records label on 17 November 2023.[4]
Background[edit]
Memphis Love was recorded mainly at Willie Mitchell's Royal Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. Before the album's release, Wolf and How Long, a cover of Ace's 1947 song, were published as singles and videos on September 1[5] and October 27, 2023,[6] respectively. The Tennessee Mass Choir is featured on the songs Wolf, Lift Us Up, Don't Judge Me, and Serious. The album was originally supposed to be released in 2017[7] after Amorosi and Stewart worked on it since 2016.[8] They recorded with some of Al Green's collaborators: Organist Charles Hodges, Keyboardist and Arranger Lester Snell, Bassist Jimi Kinnard, Guitarist Michael Toles, Trumpetist Scott Thompson, and Saxophonists Jim Spake and Lannie McMillan.[9][1]
