The Mughal Campaigns in the Balkh were a series of battles and skirmishes fought between the Mughal Empire and Khanate of Bukhara to gain control of the Balkh region in modern-day Afghanistan. Initially, the Mughal Empire saw much gain and occupied the region under the reign of Shah Jahan.
