Nabweru Community Soccer Academy, is a Ugandan football organisation based in Nabweru Community, Wakiso. The Academy started in December 2020, after the Covid-19 lock down.[1][2] We mainly focus on developing, nurturing, monitoring and promoting players through different levels of football and academics with a sounding mind and talent in the sport of football.
History
[edit]The Academy started in 2020, 29th December, it has started with one player called Solomon Ssekiranda who lived near the coach and co founder of the Academy, we started with one ball since the trainee was one, on reaching the field Nabweru playground two boys joined and become three kids for the first ever training session of the Academy, that was Ssekiranda Solomon, Walusimbi Uthuman and Akampulira Jordan. The number kept on increasing as time past and now the Academy has over 70 kids both girls and boys.
