Regie M. Tablate[1][2] (born December 18, 1996), better known as Paps and formerly Papa Gie, is a Filipino local radio disc jockey (DJ) and social media personality (Vlogger). He is best known for his former, popular afternoon delight radio programs LPT: Letcheng Pagibig Toh on Radyo Caluya 103.3 FM[3], which was simulcast on Radyo Caluya Broadcasting Studio via livestream nationwide/worldwide. He is also a singer, dancer, videographer, photographer based on his life.
Early life and career[edit]
Paps came from a poor family in Hagonoy, Bulacan. At the young age, he became a youth volunteer, a janitor and a waiter. He joined and won a sports contest in playing badminton while in his high school years before and he went to Semirara Island for his studies as high school student of Semirara National High School (SNHS), and he is graduated of information technology course at the Occidental Mindoro State College.
While working as a waiter in Occidental Mindoro and being student of OMSC, he would always listen to the program of DJ Kitty at 97.7 Bambi FM. He later applying to being radio dj at the said station which he finally got hired and began his career under his personal known as "Kuya Gie" year 2016. In mid-2016, he started launching his radio program Sunday Rewind and Trip mo Gets ko with her partner DJ Kitty, which became one of the most popular radio shows on no.1 fm station in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. In 2017, Paps made his final broadcast of his radio program, and eventually resigned as a Radio DJ of DWSJ 97.7 Bambi FM. He did not cite complete details about his resignation.
On April, 2023, Paps transferred and applied to his new station, Radyo Caluya 103.3 FM. He launched his new program, LPT (Letcheng Pagibig Toh). The radio show initially on air every Monday to Saturday from 1pm to 3pm. Regie Tablate known as the new formally called Paps Papa Gie is the first radio dj at Radyo Caluya 103.3 FM Radio Station in the municipality of caluya province of antique philippines.
Personal life[edit]
Aside from his work at Radyo Caluya, previously he is also a office encoder at Semirara Mining and Power Corporation for 3 years experience.
