@Netherzone not sure there's enough here, but this is the Mark Francis to whom Wagsatff is married. But six months will give us time, or it can die a G13. No need for action here, just flagging. I went with early 2000s for Gagosian since there's a source discrepancy. I this case, I'm guessing Gagosian's internal records are more likely to be accurate than Guardian, but could be hired vs. appointed as director as well. Glad you started this. When I was looking for material on Wagstaff, I came across some sources that mentioned Mark Francis. I saw a couple that will allow us to flesh in biographic details. Trying to see how much he wrote on Serra or Warhol to see if that might get him there. At worst he's probably worth a little more of a mention in the Warhol Museum article. His tenure wasn't too long, but I haven't found how long before opening he was hired .
