I've been given the impression in my reading that Denoël was acquired by Gallimard during the mid 20th century, shortly after the assassination of the founder. If true, this should be part of the "History" section of the article. Omitting such a fact is a misuse of Wikipedia.--Quisqualis (talk) 20:51, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have updated this page with further citations, though it is challenging to find English sources. The original article was pulled over from French wikipedia, and was completely unsourced, so these changes should help.
