On 20 January 2022, it was proposed that this article be moved from 1795 French Directory election to 1795 French legislative election. The result of the discussion was moved.

Support per nom. According to the 1795 article: "A third of the seats in the Council of Five Hundred and the Council of Ancients". And according to French Directory#Directory takes charge: "On 31 October 1795, the Council of Ancients chose the first Directory from a list of candidates submitted by the Council of Five Hundred."
