Source?[edit]

Not sure if anyone is monitoring this talk page, but just in case... While it's difficult to find sources on early college football in Florida, it's concerning that the only source for the games / scores in this article is lostcolleges.com , which is an interesting site but does not provide a primary source for this info. Also, I don't know what "Tampa" is referring to, as the Tampa Spartans football team wouldn't take field for another 30 years. Maybe it was a club team of some sort? Either way, it should be clarified, which would require a good citation, of which we have none. Zeng8r (talk) 19:10, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is the one newspaper source. In my experience lost colleges is good, usually using a yearbook or media guide or similar source. But I still agree, this does need better sources. Stetson is our best source on this period in Florida football history, and unfortunately the sources seem mixed so far. Thanks for bringing attention. Cake (talk) 20:04, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I believe this page, 1902 East Florida Seminary football team and 1904 East Florida Seminary football team should be merged into an article named East Florida Seminary football team, as the existing articles are quite short, and are not likely to be substantially expanded.
