Championship standing[edit]

You can convert the championship standing table from the de-Wikipedia-Version. --Gamma127 (talk) 14:07, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Van der Zande retired on lap 30. In standing table it should be seen as "Ret" --Mervin

Non-championship races[edit]

In my opinion, the podium finishes in the non-championship races should be marked with the standard gold, silver, and bronze colours in the season results table, as these are still podium finishes regardless of whether or not they count towards the championship.--Midgrid(talk) 21:44, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As the table is titled Drivers' Championship rather than Season Results or similar those races should be removed entirely and tabulated separately at the bottom as they do not contribute to the drivers championship. --Falcadore (talk) 23:04, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I see your point, but is it necessary to create two additional tables (assuming this also applies to the teams' championship) for one event?--Midgrid(talk) 12:10, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It is obvious just to leave them in the tables existing. All results just have the blue background which by definition indicates they receive 'no points'. So there is no issue. Officially Mr X (talk) 12:43, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As it stands, and Mr.X colour issues aside (which is completely of no help to someone who is colour blind in that range) it creates an inaccurate impression that the races do count towards the pointscore.
So, no it is not necessary, but it's an option, and a better one than relying on interpreting a colour coded explanation. --Falcadore (talk) 13:09, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The level of interpretation required is extremely mininal, and the annotation which states "Non-championship race. No points awarded." is clear enough for anybody. No confusion can possibly result on the part of the reader. Officially Mr X (talk) 13:34, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No confusion can possibly result on the part of the reader. It's nice of you to presume that you understand the whole world so easily. Perhaps I can point you to WP:COLOR - Ensure that color is not the only method used to convey important information. --Falcadore (talk) 21:09, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The simple point is that colour is not the only method used in this case. As I said, there is an annotation. Officially Mr X (talk) 16:15, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Annotation[edit]

There are two different Note 1s in this article - one relating to Susie Wolffs name the other to non championship status of a race. Please change one to a note 2. Thank you. --Falcadore (talk) 01:50, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Amended. Craig(talk) 15:42, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
