Map

If anyone is interested in creating a map for this incident, here is an interesting link showing where looting, fires and other incidents occurred. Not sure if this will work but here it is anyways.--ZiaLater (talk) 16:39, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

Semi-protection?

This article should probably be semi-protected like the Death of Freddie Gray article is. I've already seen some vandalism on this page and I suspect it will only intensify. Zell Faze (talk) 03:03, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

The rioters have attacked this article too. Put that in the article too.--150.216.128.170 (talk) 03:11, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
That would likely be inappropriate unless you can find a reliable source reporting on it. Zell Faze (talk) 16:20, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
I agree, it needs some kind of semi protection. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 03:12, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
I've semi-protected for a week, as it seems to be getting the same level of vandalism as Death of Freddie Gray. GorillaWarfare (talk) 03:35, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

Potential Inaccuracies

The current article reports that a CVS pharmacy the intersection of North Ave and Pennsylvania Ave was "burned to the ground." This statement is false- firefighters responded to the scene and the structure has not been completely destroyed. Firefighters and emergency personnel were attacked by individuals (by rock, bottles, and other debris). Additionally, one individual intentionally punctured a firefighting hose.  Done - Statement reworded. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 04:03, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

Current article states that 15 officers were injured during the April 25 protests. That number is really 6. (15 were injured on April 27th.) The first citation should also be removed as it refers to the April 27th protests (and is likely the source of this inaccuracy). Curlerlikeyou (talk) 00:29, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

Baltimore Orioles chief operating officer John P. Angelos said, when asked about a game postponement,

2015 Baltimore riotsBaltimore riot of 2015 – I think we should be consistent with the titles of riots in Baltimore, as shown with the Baltimore riot of 1861 and 1968, as well as those listed at Baltimore riots. Pyrotle {T/C} 04:11, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

  • I agree that the title of this post should be changed to Baltimore riot of 2015 to maintain consistency between the 1968 and 1861 Baltimore riot pages.Meistervision (talk) 04:52, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Oppose. "2015 Baltimore riots" is consistent with our normal formatting of such articles' titles (year [if required] + location + type of incident). The two titles cited in the request are the anomalies. Those articles probably should be moved. —David Levy 12:58, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Oppose fine with that redirecting here so I will take care of that. EoRdE6(Come Talk to Me!) 14:41, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Oppose per David's reasoning, we should use our normal format. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 14:49, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
