Disbandment[edit]

This statement contained within Strategic Defence and Security Review - Army:Written statement - HCWS367 might not use the exact word "disbandment" but....

HQ 102 Logistic Brigade, 32nd Regiment Royal Artillery, 35 Engineer Regiment, Headquarters 64 Works Group Royal Engineers, 2 Medical Regiment, Headquarters 4th Regiment Royal Military Police, 33 Field Hospital and 104,105 and 106 Battalions of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers reserve will be rationalised, with all manpower in those units being redeployed to other areas of the Army in its refined structure

...I'd say that "disbandment" is exactly what it means, and therefore the word "disbanded" is acceptable shorthand for it. Exemplo347 (talk) 11:25, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • If "all manpower in those units [are] being redeployed" then I would agree that this is disbandment. Dormskirk (talk) 11:34, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It is definitely being disbanded. First hand experience of being told exactly that by the Commanding Officer. Stingray Trainer (talk) 17:57, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Do not use old sources[edit]

74 Battery (The Battle Axe Company) Royal Artillery has it's own page saying it is part of 47th Regiment RA so stop posting old links as sources. Just because that presentation slide contains the name 32 RA doesn't mean it is up to date. The CO has changed in any case. BlueD954 (talk) 15:45, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
