You haven't felt frustration until you've tried to discover who won the Afghanistan v Oman game in the 2004 ACC Trophy... I think that was Afghanistan's first representative game, but I can't find a scorecard, or even a result, anywhere. Gah. Loganberry (Talk) 23:08, 2 August 2005 (UTC)

Unsourced information

There appears to be the makings of a mini edit war over the article. Please discuss article changes here rather than continually reverting. I have removed the statement at the centre of all these reverts:

Before departing to South Africa for the World Cup Qualifier, Afghanistan will hold a preparation camp in Sri Lanka in early March for almost two weeks. Oman and UAE will join the preparations too and the three Asian teams will play together, in addition to playing some local clubs.[citation needed]

Per WP:V, any editor is allowed to remove unsourced information. Unless a source can be provided, it should not be reinserted. More importantly, is it important to the article? The teams performance in the tournament will be notable, and if any failings or successes are attributed to preparation in Sri Lanka, it will certainly be worth mentioning, however I'm not sure whether it's relevant as is it stands. Poor article

This article tells next to nothing about the amazing story of the growth of Afghani cricket - it is just a list of matches in narrative form. Not a single mention of Taj Malik.

Orphaned references in Afghanistan national cricket team

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Afghanistan national cricket team's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Test":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:55, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
