Harriet Tubman Democratic High School,[edit]

I suggest to split this off, it is obvious a different subject, and not the direct subject of this page. The accompanying EL does not belong here, per WP:ELNO and should be removed (inclusion to be discussed per WP:ELBURDEN. —Dirk Beetstra T C 18:52, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And why is this not closer linked to Harriet Tubman. —Dirk Beetstra T C 19:30, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The high school was small. It doesn't have significant coverage to warrant a separate article. Its noteworthy mentions were included in this article, alongside the lower school with which it is affiliated, especially as it is treated as a component of the Free School. The link to the high school's page offers "significant unique content ... not prominently linked from other official websites", as quoted from WP:ELMINOFFICIAL, the guideline you cited in your initial edit summary. The external link in question is newly defunct—I don't expect it to be live for years to come, and it will be removed when it goes down—but it is useful until then. This all said, I really don't see how this discussion was worthy of an edit war. czar 20:07, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
On the other hand, the two websites hardly link to each other, so the link is not very clear. Schools have a very low threshold on notability. I still insist that the link is indirect, it not of the subject, it is of a side-subject mentioned in the article. That fails our inclusion standards.
My edit summary is reasonably broad, and includes the exact reason why I think this specific link does not belong.
Edit war goes both way - WP:ELBURDEN is rather clear. --Dirk Beetstra T C 06:17, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
