Peacock terms

[edit]

Even though this guy is actually named after a , WP:PEACOCK still applies. Please avoid effusive words like "famous", "prominent", etc. Just describe the cold, dry facts and leave the readers to judge whether they find him prominent.--Anders Feder (talk) 12:21, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Maintenance tags should not be removed until the problem/s that warranted them no longer exist. This article still violates WP:PEACOCK and thus I have re-tagged it accordingly. Ormr2014 | Talk  12:59, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The word after his name is the meaning of the name in English. Tawus means Peacock and the word explain the meaning of his name and was not for WP:PEACOCK. I deleted the (i.e. Peacock). Therefore, omit the tag.Papeli44 (talk) 13:59, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Are you kidding? The tag was added because of the verbiage used in the text, like "famous", "prominent" etc. It has nothing to do with his name.--Anders Feder (talk) 14:04, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Anders Feder: Please observe the rules of the etiquette.Papeli44 (talk) 14:12, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Papeli44: What rules of the etiquette are you referring to?--Anders Feder (talk) 14:26, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Anders Feder:Good behavior and talk suavity.Papeli44 (talk) 14:32, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Papeli44: What have I done or said that isn't good or suavity?--Anders Feder (talk) 14:36, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Anders Feder:I talk about your response (Are you kidding?) in the talk page. I prefer to edit the article.Papeli44 (talk) 14:39, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Papeli44: There is nothing un-good or un-suavity about that response. I genuinely suspect that you are merely trolling. That is why I asked politely so as to clarify it.--Anders Feder (talk) 14:42, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have restored the explanation that Tawus means peacock. I think Papeli44 misunderstood.-- Toddy1 (talk) 16:28, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
