Video allegations[edit]

I am concerned that we do not have enough reliable sources to document the video allegations that are being added and deleted from this entry. See WP:BLP. The sourcing related to her room being similar - that's definitely WP:SYNTH and not appropriate for a BLP. EricEnfermero (Talk) 07:32, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The sourcing is terrible and the subject matter is salacious, extremely negative and implicates all sorts of issues around personal privacy and children's rights. This material has no place in her Wikipedia biography. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 08:05, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm absolutely in agreement here with what EricEnfermero points out above. And in fact, it's borderline suppresible. In my role as oversighter, I've gone ahead and revdel'd those edits as being egregious BLP violations against named minors. They should in no way be re-added without major, clear, multiple reliable sources and even then, they'd still be on shaky ground - Alison ^❤ 09:18, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the prompt action - as for whether oversight is required, I'll not comment, as I'm not sure what the criteria are. Meanwhile, a reminder to anyone else reading this that WP:BLP policy applies everywhere on Wikipedia - including talk pages. It would be highly inadvisable to discuss any details of the allegations on this talk page or elsewhere, or to provide links to sources doing so - we aren't going to include salacious gossip about minors in articles, and are likely to take a very dim view of anyone using talk pages to propagate it.
