An abridged Japanese Brazilian?

[edit]

This article is nothing more than a shortened version of the Japanese Brazilian article. There is nothing about the other Asian groups in Brazil, everything is about the Japanese. I don't know if I should sent this article to WP:AFD? Does anyone have a comment or solution about this article? Lehoiberri (talk) 20:10, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe we should keep this article alive. It's important, however, to include Chinese and Koreans in this article, not only the Japanese. Opinoso (talk) 11:35, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I understand the importance of this article. I think the article should be similar to Asian American. I agree it should mention the Chinese and Koreans, and maybe smaller groups of Asians {instead of making separate pages like Filipino Brazilian}. Lehoiberri (talk) 17:31, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Asian Brazilian" vs "Brasileiro Amarelo"

[edit]

If "Asian Brazilian" includes people of Middle Eastern descent, then it is not the same as "Brasileiro Amarelo" ("Yellow Brazilian"). If "Asian Brazilian" translates into "Brasileiro Amarelo", then it cannot include people of Middle Eastern descent, who are not "Amarelos". Ninguém (talk) 18:54, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No improvement to quality of content

[edit]

As has been discussed above, there has been no improvement to the scope of the article, and [[WP:OR|original research}} as to who is or isn't 'Asian Brazilian' has been added. It still reads as an abridged version of Japanese Brazilians — with a few other groups thrown in to give the impression of a broader scope — held together by throwing in home-spun tales of Romani, Levantine, and other 'guestimate' ethnic groups into the equation. The article is currently beyond unencyclopaedic: it is fabrication and misinformation. I suspect that this is due to be WP:AfDed. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 04:43, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
