Questions

[edit]

I read on a blog that BGW Systems failed as a business before ATI bought them. Any solid references for this observation? I also heard that Wachner made sure each component of his BGW amplifier designs was made in the USA. Reference? Finally, I was told that BGW had a strong hand in bringing Tannoy to the American market. Reference? Binksternet (talk) 05:25, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also heard that Peavey hired some amplifier engineers away from BGW. Reference? Binksternet (talk) 15:55, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wachner was the AES Los Angeles section chairman during which two years? Binksternet (talk) 16:22, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Photos needed

[edit]

It would be good to have a photo or scan of the old BGW Systems logo (the one where the 'W' looks like two rounded columns) and it would help to have a photo of some of the more famous products. Binksternet (talk) 18:18, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Got the old logo now. I have a draw full of brochures and manuals. I'll do some more scanning soon. Uncle Milty (talk) 22:03, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Rockin'! Thanks for the logo scan. Binksternet (talk) 03:26, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewer: Wizardman Operation Big Bear 02:08, 8 January 2010 (UTC) After reading this article, I can tell that it doesn't meet GAN guidelines for the following reasons:[reply]

  • WP:LEAD should be expanded.
  • Citations need all available information (dates, publishers), including accessdates for websites.
  • Most importantly, the article is currently just a string of one sentence paragraphs with next to no structure. Some of those "paragraphs" could use citations too.

As a result, I'm failing this article. It can be renominated when it's fixed up. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 02:08, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
