Redirect/Disambiguation

[edit]

I'm not sure if this page deserves to get the redirect from "babyface". I think it's better that it's redirected to the disambiguation page, whoever's looking for Kenneth Edmonds can go from there. I'd make the changes myself but I don't know how to do the redirects. 82.123.27.215 16:49, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Fall Out Boy and Babyface

[edit]

If I'm not mistaken, Babyface is co-producing Fall Out Boy's new album, Infinty on high. This should be mentioned somewhere. FinalWish 19:42, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This definitely doesn't deserve the redirect from "Baby Face."

What his worth? And the song "On the Line" he did with Micheal Jackson

Solo career?

[edit]

This article completely skips over any discussion of his commercial success in his solo career. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.245.8.9 (talk) 06:24, 20 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Requested move

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the proposal was: page moved to Babyface (musician) by proposer, who agrees Babyface should be a dab page. Station1 (talk) 01:46, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kenneth EdmondsBabyface — - [The subject is better known by his stage name "Babyface." It is customary on Wikipedia when a person is known to the public by a stage name that the article be titled under that name (e.g. Flo Rida, Akon, Rihanna, Fergie, Jay-Z). The birth name can still redirect and be mentioned in the opening sentence.] --Shaliya waya (talk) 01:38, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose I think the professional wrestling term (which has been used a lot longer than this rapper has been around) is just as likely, more more likely, of a search target. TJ Spyke 15:45, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This does not mean he should be disambiguated as "Kenneth Edmonds." If it were necessary to disambiguate, "Babyface" would be the dab page, while this page would be titled Babyface (musician) and the wrestling term would be titled Babyface (wrestling). Shaliya waya (talk) 18:17, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
In the end, I agree it is fair for Babyface to be the disambiguation page. Shaliya waya (talk) 00:50, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Babyface should stay as the dab, all the other meanings derive from the look of a baby, and the musician is just one of several, so if you wanted to displace the dab, it should go to the original (pre wrestling meaning), but please just leve it the way it is. The above discussion is preserved as an archive of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

Respectfully; Wiki community, c'mon?

This page deserves a little more detail concerning "Face"'s undeniable contribution to Pop music history, and thus contemporary history — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattspringer1983 (talkcontribs) 05:04, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Artwork

[edit]

Looks like the album Christmas with Babyface is missing from this page. I'll let someone else do the work on that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zeroparallax (talkcontribs) 07:57, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
