Sourcing[edit]

Blogs are generally not accepted as reliable sources. There are some exceptions. As noted in the SPS section of Identifying reliable sources:

Self-published material may be acceptable when produced by an established expert on the topic of the article whose work in the relevant field has previously been published by reliable third-party publications. Self-published sources should never be used as third-party sources about living persons, even if the author is a well-known professional researcher or writer; see WP:BLP#Reliable sources.

Mel Greenberg easily qualifies, and as a member of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, is established as an expert on the subject of women's basketball.--SPhilbrickT 16:19, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Another example is Mechelle Voepel. This ESPN page establishes that she is a prolific contributor to ESPN, particularly on the subject of Women's Basketball.--SPhilbrickT 16:23, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
