for a discussion on the box with all the el lines listed, please see Template talk:CTA, especially if you have an opinion about the former interurbans being listed there Tedernst 17:00, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Two different total lengths in first paragraph

[edit]

HUH?

I suppose regular editors are aware of this, but...

[edit]

...why the "idiosyncratic" article title? On both the Chicago (disambiguation) and Chicago (CTA) disambiguation pages, the Red and Brown line articles are formatted as Chicago (CTA <color> Line). As a result of this article not "toeing the party line", as it were, there's a couple of red links which should be pointing here.

PS I've checked the pages' respective histories, and I'm aware that this page is much, much older than the other two articles. However, there seems to have been a discussion about it at Talk:List of Chicago Elevated stations#Station article names, which seems to be trying to achieve consistency across the board. Should I therefore move this page? I've no connection with Chicago or WikiProject Trains, so I'm less inclined than normal to be bold. -- DeLarge 17:20, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Special services

[edit]

The succession boxes for the Blue Line have long called out "special services", which variously run between Rosemont/Jefferson Park and UIC-Halsted/Racine. I don't see any explanation in the article text for these, and if they're just short-turns they probably don't need to be indicated in the linked station articles. My inclination is to remove them. Ok, I'll take those off. They are mentioned, but just on this article. Cards84664 (talk) 00:46, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
