Similar list in Uruguay

I just stumbled upon Uruguay controlled drug list. It's very similar to the Brazilian list, but it also contains the CAS number. I will post it here for further reference.

Incorrect definitions

The definition is incorrect. “Brazilian Controlled Drugs and Substances Act” is not a proper translation for “Regulamento técnico (…)” (Portaria 344), nor it should be referred to as a federal statute, as this implies it to be an act of the brazilian Congress, which is not the case. The brazilian drug act is federal law n. 11.343/2006, which defines drugs as any addictive substance, as specified by law or as listed by the federal executive. The statute contains a provisional rule stating that until such law or list be approved, Portaria 344 is to be considered the brazilian “illicit drugs list”. Portaria 344 in itself is actually Anvisa’s regulation regarding prescription drugs (there is a lot of over-the-counter medication in Brazil a self-medication is rampant, so most prescription drugs are really serious business) 2804:7F0:6781:5A4F:557C:45DB:A47F:8067 (talk) 03:32, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
