Split to here[edit]

I think the discussion about the status of the content page from 4 years ago for this character needs to be reopened. An edit war has been occuring over the last few days and I think it should be put to bed finally. To split ot not to split? That is what I hope this will decide. RacingPhreak (talk) 02:47, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

absolutely agree. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Brian O'Conner was closed in 2011. I think this article should need split. -- Kanghuitari (talk) 00:46, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That AFD is closed 2011, but this character is appeared 2011, 2013 and 2015 films. Since 2011, the contents of the article is increases, I think Brian O'Conner more prominent. -- Kanghuitari (talk) 07:40, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't say that he has "[become] more prominent" by appearing in the three films in question (maybe the last one, due to Paul Walker's death}, just that he has appeared in more films since the discussion was closed. But this is not the place to discuss. You should really open up a new discussion yourself. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 07:52, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
User:RacingPhreak said about "split ot not to split", so I just did reply that comment. -- Kanghuitari (talk) 08:37, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Split discussion is at Talk:List of The Fast and the Furious characters#Split. Since the bold split was opposed and it did go against the AfD decision, it is necessary to gain consensus for a split and also address the WP:GNG issue raised at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Brian O'Conner or it may just get deleted again. Add {{Pp-semi}} template.

Partly done: Instead added {{pp|vandalism|small=yes}} --Cameron11598 (Converse) 01:30, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The "Reception" section says "Walker's portrayal has made the actor becoming strongly identified with the character." Not only does this make no sense grammatically, but the three sources cited don't make any mention of Paul Walker identifying with his character. Also, there's no source cited for the observation that O'Conner's "relationship with Dom Toretto has been variously described as a bromance." I'll delete the word "variously," which doesn't make sense, but hopefully someone more confident with the subject matter can fix the other issues. Plot[edit]

Is the plot section needed? I am taking this to WP:FCHAR, and just wanted to state this point here. I was informed that big plots are not encouraged, and I felt that the entire plot is given, just by giving the character in question a bit more importance.--Atlantis77177 (talk) 09:43, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
