One winner or more?

[edit]

Is there a system in place to separate jockeys level on wins? If so when was it introduced? Perfectamundo (talk) 00:00, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not as far as I know. The only shared title in my living memory came when John Francome stopped riding one season to allow a share of the title with the injured Peter Scudamore - he stopped when he drew level, knowing there was no tie-breaker in place. Titles are generally shared in the various jockeys' championship - Seb Sanders and Jamie Spencer shared a Flat title a few years ago and the Flat apprentice title has thrown up a few shared winners --Bcp67 (talk) 08:36, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalisation?

[edit]

Champion Jockey is capitalised in the article title, but not in the main text. This should be standardised on whichever form is more acceptable. Loganberry (Talk) 15:52, 11 December 2006 (UTC) Ignore me; I can't read! Loganberry (Talk) 15:53, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
