Whoever wrote "the second largest parade" must know the largest US parade: is it the Rosebowl? There should be a footnote and a link, if this isn't original research. --Wetman 19:20, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can't you get a picture or two?

Did you attend it this year? Put up your own photos. -- SECisek 00:34, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GA on hold

[edit]

Pretty good article, very close to GA. I went through and copyedited a bit, and I just have a few requests before passing. Famous past attendees are listed in two places, the last and third from last paragraphs in the "History" section. Is there any way these attendees could be combined better into one place? Also, very little is said about the picnic portion of the parade, could more be added? Wrad 19:17, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Will do. Wrad 16:40, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like what I pointed out has been dealt with. It passes. Wrad 19:32, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Largest African-American parade claim is suspect

[edit]

Does the author of this article know about the Krewe of Zulu Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans? There needs to be concrete research to prove that Bud Billiken is larger than Zulu. 9toedfreak (talk) 00:27, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
